The 76ers don't plan on contacting Byron Scott about their vacant head coaching position, a source told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The team has formally interviewed two candidates and compiled a list of prospective coaches they plan to contact.

76ers general manager Ed Stefanski was in New Jersey's front office when Scott was the coach of the Nets.
