Nothing complicated to it, just give your grades on the players and just explain why you gave that specific grade. Nothing hard to it. [IMG]

    Grades

    Samuel Dalembert - B

He started off real slow, but the way O'Brien handled this guy playing in just his second year, there was not much he could have done. But as time went on he slowly got his stride back and made some noise, and to follow that off he had an amazing series against the defending champions.

    Chris Webber - C

Similar to Dalembert he started off slow as well coming into a new environment and then having words for his coach. But Webber finally found his stride eventually but went down with a shoulder injury against the Suns. He later on came back and had to yet readjust with the team once again, and while it took sometime he quietly starting feeling comfortable and meshed with his teammates. When Playoff time came, he playing at an reasonably high level and attacked the rim a little more then what he did in the season. So Webber didn't play at the franchise player level that he played on Sacramento but an emotional guy playing in a completely new environment and dealing with heavy criticism and having to readjust he did a decent job. Hopefully, that C can turn to an A next season, I'm sure it will.

    Kyle Korver - B-

Unlike Dalembert and Webber, Korver started off great. He slowly diminished late in the second half and he then completely disappeared in the Playoffs. But for a player who can't create his own shot and is primarily on the court just to shoot the 3pt shot he didn't do that bad of a job.

    Andre Iguodala - B+

He was a major assets of this team and in some instances I don't know where the team be without him. He has brought something completely new and exciting to this team. And when you look at all the great players who ever got a triple double, just look at the time I took them to achieve that. But yet, Iguodala managed to get 10 Points, 10 Rebounds and 10 Assists against the defending champions. Not to mention, he is always giving the task to defend the opposing team players and he has done a great job. From frustrating Paul Pierce, to holding Kobe to only four points for 3 quarters and then holding LeBron James to 3-21 shooting, Iguodala has been amazing.

    Allen Iverson - A

There is too much that could be said about him. Let?s just say this, finishing in Top 5 in the MVP race there is no way he should get lower than an A.

    --

    John Salmons - C+

To be he has quietly been the unsung hero in games. Nobody seems to notice him, but he gets the job done. Whether it's rebound, passing or knocking down open shots when ever he is on the floor he delivers. His versatility is his biggest strength and he's put that to use. O'Brien should give him more or rather consistent minutes.

    Rodney Rogers - C

He was decent when he first came in, fell off, came big and then disappeared. He's been on and off during the span he's been here. But not playing much in the Playoffs and then later on having a big game in a decisive game, I'll give him a C.

    Kevin Ollie - C-

Well, Allen Iverson is saying good things about him in the locker room. [IMG]

    Aaron Mckie - C+

He's the locker room leader, and while some may think that's not overly important it's sure is. The locker room leaders are in some cases the reason why players play the way they do on the court. They're the reason why young guys keep they're heads up, and they're the reason why the team is continuously fighting. And in the 76ers case, McKie has done of a hell of a job being the influencer of this squad.

    Marc Jackson - B-

He's been a solid contributor. Like mentioned in the article he was simply outmatched. But over the course of the season he's been great. Marc Jackson and Erick Dampier are one of the few guys remaining in the league that likes to bang bodies and play the physical game. Now a days, most guys are into the finesse style of play and rather scores without getting a scratch. Jackson on the other hand loves it, and his aggressiveness and intensity has been huge for us especially off the bench.

    Willie Green - C

He's been up and down, but in Iverson absence he plays big. Averaging about 20 PPG I believe in Iverson's place is pretty darn good if you ask me.

    Josh Davis - D

He was brought in to shot the 3 ball, but he could have least knocked them down. I seen him get so many open looks, and out of the 45+ games he played I only remember him having two good games. He has to do a little better than that.

    Michael Bradley - INC

    Matt Barnes - INC

    --

    Jim O'Brien - C

He's done some very suspect and questionable moves this season, but the way he got Dalembert playing late in the season and the way he?s gotten Korver to play , plus the fact that he did a bold move by sending Iverson to the PG slot, he?s done a decent job. If we were to win the Atlantic Division I?d give him a B, but since that didn?t happen he settles for a C in my books.

    Samuel Dalembert- B+

He wasn't given minutes during the beginning of the season but when O'Brien let him out of the doghouse, Dalembert came out strong. Although he didn't have as big of a role as last year, when given the chance he contributed. Dalembert was the only consistent guy in the playoffs and finally has found his spot on the team by the end of the season.

    Chris Webber- C

    Avery said it all.

    Kyle Korver- C+

Now, I have to say, Korver greatly improved his game. He started to play better defense, hustle, and become a pure shooter. However, the only problem is that he can't create his own shots- leaving him to have tons of off nights whenever the other team covered him heavily. Plus, he isn't that good at moving off screens either so in games when teams would play tough defense, he wouldn't make any noise at all.

    Andre Iguodala- B+

He's been a great player. Better than expected. Iggy improved his game before the season started. Despite what people said about him not being able to shoot, he started to knock down three's and midranges. Plus, the crowd loves him and he draws more and more people to the team.

    Allen Iverson- A

Solid player. Not to mention he improved all of his stats- passing, involving teammates, and defense. Oh yeah, and he successfully transitioned himself into the point guard position.

    If time permits, more later.

    Samuel Dalembert - B-

Dalembert didn't get off to a good start, but at the end of the year he showed everyone the real player he is. Dalembert has a solid year but I think he could've been a little more consistent; he got into a lot of foul trouble, which hurt the 76ers as a team at times. I'm looking forward to Philly resigning him if the 76ers can get it done he has a bright future.

    Chris Webber - Inc.

I'm giving him an incomplete; he hasn't been here long enough to receive a grade in my opinion. What I mean is, he hasn't played enough for me to determine what kind of grade he is. From what I saw of him I would give him a C+ but next year I hope to see him at the same level in his Sacto days, that means Allen has to adjust to Webber some.

    Kyle Korver - C-
I like Korver's ability to hit the three ball, but people usually don't really realize how much effort he puts forth overall. The thing I don't like about him is, he commits to many mental errors, and he?ll get better as he gets more experience.

    Andre Iguodala - A

Iguodala had a terrific rookie year and I can't wait until he is older because he is going to be good. I gave him an A because he came in night in and night out and contributed consistently to some category for the 76ers, rather it be shooting, defense, or even playmaking Andre has started all games the 76ers have played and has done something significant in each one. Iguodala is a nice mix of versatility and basketball knowledge, in my opinion he is already a big part of this franchise.

    Allen Iverson - A+

I can't really express why Allen gets an A+ because to me it is obvious. After missing a career high in games in the 03-04 season, it would have been easy for AI to take it slow this season, but as you can see he came in and played at MVP level and I'm proud for him.
    --

    John Salmons - C
Been pretty solid when called upon, seldom played though so it's hard to give him a grade, I like what he does when he plays though. One thing I would like to see him do is work on his all around game though; he could be a solid starter one day if he worked at it.

    Rodney Rogers - C-
I think Rogers could use some more experience within are team, he didn't play very well but showed potential of his shooting ability off the bench.

    Kevin Ollie - low C
This guy doesn't get much PT, but I think if he got the oppurtunity he would be a solid guy to have off the bench as well.

    Aaron Mckie - C

McKie is that veteran who is a positive presence in the locker room, but I know McKie can play better then what he did this year but again he didn't receive the playing time he has gotten throughout most of his career as a Sixer.

    Marc Jackson - low B
He's a nice force to have off the bench, Jackson is a good inside presence and can hti the 15 foot jumper as well

    Willie Green - C

When he is called upon he plays. But all of us would like to see him get more of an oppurtunity to showcase his talent because everyone knows Green can play.

    Josh Davis - null

He could be an ok player to have on the practice squad, but you can't really grade him in my opnion because he rarely played at all.

    --

    Jim O'Brien - C-
If the 76ers lose the players that were put in the doghouse then in my opinion Jim O'Brien has failed he is not a players coach but one who just seems to care about the team itself and how they perform. Never the less, he has made a brilliant move in switching Allen back to PG. I think O'Brien can still learn hopefully he can get better.
