76ers

From what i have read it looks like we should be rooting for the 76ers. We own the rights to their 2007 draft pick. I think we got it somehow in the Dampier deal. Does anyone know? It is conditional. WE need Philly to make the playoffs for that pick to be ours. Go Philly!!!!! Now i hope Iverson doesn't get traded and Philly does not go into rebuilding mode.

 

Ya i guess its top 15 protected so if they make the playoffs its yours.

 

you should want them to rebuild man. So they can struggle.

These guys are saying that the Philly pick isn't ours if they are in rebuilding mode (i.e. they miss the playoffs again). Why would we want them to struggle? Think man.

 

There seems to be some uncertainty...top 15 or top 13? 07 only or is it still alive in 06? My understanding is it evaporates if unused in either 07 or 08. It's at least a lotto protected either way-so it's like worth a half a pick..and if Philly goes salary dump-we get the hole in the donut....and some $
