would like to see us hire a coach for him, frankly bringin in Przy is not the way I would go. Who would you guys recommend? anyone think Bill Walton would do it and do a good job? seems like he and Blazers org have been slowly mending fences the past several years. Thoughts?
I think Bill would be awesome, but I'm not sure if he'd come. I'd love to see us hire Gary Payton for Lillard and Walton for Leonard.

Why isn't Przy the way to go? Przy growing up was taught everything Bill Walton was taught fundamentally, to how to play in the post, to how to box out, footwork, rebound, pass, shoot. Just because one was a hof'er and one wasn't, doesn't make him anymore qualified to coach a big man. And it certainly doesn't mean it's going to translate into making a good coach. Przy has all the characteristics of being a good coach. He's firey, he's a hard worker, he's bright, he's competitive etc. Just because Bill Walton was a good player doesn't mean he is going to be a great teacher or that he can teach and be patient doing it.
does not mean he can either, he didn't have those skills and IMO that makes it a lot harder to teach/relate
The problem I have with Joel is lack of an offensive skill set as a player. He never developed any reliable low post moves. Myers has the basic skills (shooting touch, ball handling, footwork, coordination, athleticism) to develop into a very good low post scorer. But, I don't see someone like Joel helping Myers reach his offensive potential. That's why I suggested McHale (best low post moves EVER and a pretty good defender) and Hakeem (great post moves and a great defender). Not sure if getting either is realistic anytime soon, but those are the kind of coaches that could help Myers reach his potential on both ends of the court. BNM
I'll say it again, just because he could play offense, doesn't mean that he can teach it and be patient doing it.
Wouldn't you say though, as Joel was growing up, he was taught how to do everything these hall of famers were taught to do? Was he able to do everything that they could? No. He didn't have the talent. But that doesn't mean he can't teach it.
I tend to agree, actually, but I'd rather have someone who had success with what they were taught rather than someone who didn't
