Greetings Cavs' fans! I come in peace! [IMG]

There is one thought that's exciting me to no end. What do you think of this match-up? A match-up that will sure go on for years to come:

    <font size="2"><font color="Navy">New Jersey Nets</font></font>

    and

    <font size="2">V.S.</font>

    <font size="2"><font color="Navy">Cleveland Cavaliers</font></font>

    and

Personally, the mere thought is salivating. Here we have two young PF's who almost have the same offensive game. Although KMart is better defensively, we can see signs of improvement on Boozer's part. Both are capable of double doubles every night and they have the privilage of having two great guards with them.

James is a younger and bigger version of Kidd. He's flirting with triple doubles every game night. They have relatively easier jobs with the two forwards waiting for the lob pass. They can shoot with confidence because they know someone can take the offensive boards.

From now, the Nets tandem takes the win for the match-up. But what will happen 2-3 years down the line?

    PS:
I just had to post pics of the Nets players in their ASG uniform huh? [IMG]

Right now you own us big time. We may as well not make the playoffs if it means getting the 7th seed and matchup with you! Your defense is always too much. Martin doesn't hurt us too much, but Kidd, Kittles and Jefferson always shoot the lights out!

No rivalry when its always a blowout!

Maybe in a couple of years!

You guys better make sure Martin is resigned or else your rivalry plans are out the door.

Great match up. We prolly will see that post season match up alot in the future. But I think O'Neil+Artest vs Boozer+James is more intense.

Its crazy.... this season we get killed by Jersey....

Last season, with that CRAP squad we had.... we beat Jersey twice if my memory is serving me correct.

Hate to admit it but your 100% right - we just flat out can't match up with Jersey. Hopefully next year we will, but if we see them in the playoffs better get the brooms out. BUT if we play Detroit I smell upset.......

Cavs/Heat, Cavs/Magic, maybe even Cavs/Bucks stand a better chance over the Nets.

The Cavs and Pacer games have been awesome too though.

You might get a game or two, but thats a big maybe

Cavs aren't ready to play with the big boys in the post season yet, few more years and you will be right up there.

That's why I said this. We own you this season. But think what will happen 2-3 years down the line. Boozer will be a veteran and Lebron will have years in his belt. Would you really wanna see Jermaine/Artest VS. Bron/Boozer. It's not exciting at all. Boozer will make some impact plays down the stretch and more shades of Magic will be shown by Bron passing wise. In terms of excitement, I can't wait for this to happen.

After a few years, Boozer will know how to defend better maybe in the lines of K-Mart. Can you almost see it? Both 6'9 double-double guys defending one another? One equally capable of shutting down the other? Provided of course that Boozer develops his defense.

If there's one PG who can guard Bron on the post, it's Kidd. They're both big for their position. Both make awesome passes. If Bron matures and makes better decision, you can book a double-double for both these guys. But Bron will surely play the SG or SF position but still, he's a PG at heart.

If your post was edited It would say so at the bottom of the message. Unless the Nets have changed their uniform's to east all-stars then no the topic hasn't been changed.

Yup I noticed that it doesn't have the "Last edited blah blah" below it. But when it's the mods or admins that edited it, it wouldn't show right? I dunno. I forgot if it does. [IMG]. But it's no big deal really. [IMG]. It's just a funny thought. That's why I said that maybe the link has been updated. But seriously man, do you still see them in their ASG uniforms above?

Yup. That's why I said that maybe the link has been updated. I was just playing with the mods here coz that's the first thing that came into my mind. That someone edited it. [IMG] Besides, Allnet said that it's still the ASG uniforms.
