Im a Knick fan out in California so I cant see any of the preseason games or anything. I wanted to ask how Andre Barrett was doing right now and if you guys think he will have a chance of making the opening day roster? I saw him out in the Summer Pro League and I really liked how he played. Also, does anyone know what happened to Zech Marbury? Thanks any help would be appreciated
Z. Marbury was cut a long time ago. Barret is looking pretty good and he has a legit chance of making the roster. He's playing ok, not great or anything. If anyone has anything to add, go ahead.
Unless Moochie gets bought out or we trade him and another player for just one Andre Barett will not make the team. The Knicks are loaded at all their roster spots. Which is too bad since I like him too.
Exactly, but there is a chance that we will buy out Moochie's contract. It's not a good chance, but it's there.

I wouldnt mind getting Moochie for him. Considering the way the Knicks just throw around money I dont see why Isiah wouldnt buy out his contract. So he just might make the team. Probably will only get garbage minutes since Brewer is ahead of him and Brewer wont be getting much playtime when Houston's healthy. I didnt see the T wolves game...just saw the score which wasnt very good.

He used to play for the westchester wildfire of the usbl, it was the team that john starks coaches. i dont think he still plays for them though..
Thanks for sharing the news KnicksAnalyst. Im sad to hear that Barrett was cut but I wasnt really expecting him to make the team in the 1st place. O well, hopefully he can go to the nbdl or something and get another shot next yr.
No, shocker Dre got cut. He is an excellent playermaker, one of the best in college basketball over his 4 year career at the Hall. But his lack of size puts him behind the 8 ball when it comes to making the league. And being a contributer for a team. He never really had much of a shot at making the Knicks with them already caring 5 players who can all run the point; Steph,JC,Penny,Moochie,Brewer, so realistically they didnt even have room for him on IR, cause their is no need to carry a bunch of guards on Injury Reserve all season. Moochie or Brewer will start the season.
