From ESPN's rumor wire (INsider only) http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors

    and

    and ...

Take it for what it's worth (probably not much with KP at the controls).

Meh. Not super interested in either, to be honest. Prince's back scares me. Neither are what I think we would actually need in a trade. Would prefer some actual size. Yeah, Thomas is a 4, but a Shawn Marion type of 4. I'd like someone who can actually battle for a rebound.

I am kind of concerned with his knee issues.

I thought the most recent thing was his Achilles.

I only know of his one ACL injury but maybe I missed something.

He was complaining about banging knees with Ramon Sessions on his surgically repaired knee. That is all I know.

Not going to give up anyone for a broken-down Prince. I love Dante's game and see no reason of adding Thomas. That Minny is open to dealing Jefferson scares me away.

Yea I was going to say, people are aware Prince has a burst disk in his back aren't they? You don't just get over that injury folks. Once your disk is burst, the only thing you can do is try to keep inflamation down, and travel to another country which allows disk replacement surgery and get it done.

to upgrade sf would be a bonus if we were set everywhere else....

however if you watched our last games....

we are losing cause we dont have a center.

therefore thats what we trade for. not a sf. not a pf... a fucking center

So we can disregard all of your previous rants about how KP MUST get the team a sf?

Yep I have pointed it out a lot over the last few weeks. The Blazers win almost all the games they out rebound their opponent. It's not tied to how much Roy scores, how many assist Miller gets, or Bayless going off on a scoring binge. It's tied to rebounding and controlling the paint. Pretty soon guys are going to be coming back, and some folks will think that things are going to turn around. They won't, because it won't matter. We still won't control the paint.

We already have one overpaid PF in LaMarcus. I couldn't see any scenario where the Blazers would be interested in Jefferson.

Tyrus Thomas would be a help, but he's looking for a huge payday in the summer and I doubt he would get paid here.

The article says we'd use Tyrus just for the remainder of the year then let him go in the summer.
