For one or two seasons what if the NBA Decided to have a Fantasy Draft sending players away from the team's they play for and putting all of them on new team's that Draft them. The Draft would take place a week after the final game of the NBA finals(or whenever you guy's think is a better time if you disagree with it) and once the Draft is complete everbody would have from then until the beginning of the season to pack up and leave for there new team's location. The only thing that would not change is the coaching staff, Owner or any of those guys unless a team was able to Draft somebody they already had then that player would just stay. This would only happen for 1 or 2 seasons. I prefer 1 year so I say once the 1 year is up the team's would then go back and everything would be back to normal.

I didn't mention Video Games not one time did I? No all I said was I think it would be cool if the NBA had a Fantasy Draft. Oh and I wouldn't expect David Stern to agree to one I just wanted to see what you guys thought of the idea.

My opinion - terrible idea. The players would hate it and have to relocate for what? A year, then go back to normal? WTF? The NBA would lose some loyal fans, and add "fake fans" just because "we got LeBron now!" That would be terrible. What's the point of doing that anyway, especially for ONE year?

The owners, players union, the league, and the fans would never agree to it. Also, this would give a team a false championship. Some team like the Timberwolves would get a championship and it would be in my opinion a "fake" championship. Also, who would pay for the saleries? The team that drafted the player, or the players original team? Who would pay for free agents? Too many bad things would come out of this.

I agree with you CelticBalla32 I didn't even think about it that way. The fans would hate it and NBA ratings would go way down and even after the year or two finished it would never return to the popularity it once was at.
