This is a unique situation that I don't believe any team has ever been in in the history of the NFL.

The game has absolutely no ramifications for the Giants whatsoever. It is as meaningless to them as an exhibition game in terms as their playoff position and their (admittedly very slim) opportunity to be the NFL Champions.

So what should the Giants do?

Should they play it safe and focus on the playoffs, or should they look at the historical aspect of the game and do everything possible to win?

Could it even help the Giants to get a win like this in preperation for the playoffs?

It's an interesting topic. What do you think?

If I'm the G-men, I'm playing to win with all I've got until the Pats get 20 points ahead. Then it's time to rest people.

FWIW, I think the Giants should play as few starters as possible and run on just about every down.

The sooner this game is over with, the better.

Burress, Jacobs, Pierce, and Gibril shouldn't be playing in this game. They've all had nagging injuries and I wouldn't risk any of them in a meaningless game. If I'm Coughlin, I play to win with what's left and try to get Eli to snap out of his funk (keep calling passing plays).

As a Giants fan, it'd be nice to say they ended the streak...but they should be focusing on the playoffs. They've played great on the road and thats where all their games are going to be.

Maybe they'll make some noise in the post season, maybe they'll go out in the first round again. Either way, they should be more focused on that then a meaningless game.
