We all know the Javon Walker situation but the main thing in GB is Head Coaches Mike Shermans future. He is the 2nd winnest coach in this decade only to Andy Reid and yet his future has some questions because he can't win big games. Now if Sherman weren't to get resigned that opens up the oppurtunity that Mike Holmgrem whos job is also on the line and I expect this is his last year in Seattle could become the Packers Head Coach again. He knows Ted Thompson and he has been hear before. Would you welcome him back to GB or would you be more bitter towards him because he left for more power in Seattle. I know this very well might not happen but it is an option.

Let me suggest Jim Bates as HC. Especially, if he improves the D!

I have a lot of faith in Jim Bates's new system to improve the Packers. Especially KGB who will line up wider now and get more of an advantage off the head. I thought he should of gotten the Dolphin's job but I wouldn't be surprised to see Holmegrem back in GB.

I agree Bates will become HC if our def. improves. Sherman has run out of assistants to blame. His days are numbered for sure.

Bates will not become your head coach. if your defense is good they sherman will keep his job, if it suxs and sherman is out they wont look towards bates. A team never usally goes after there corridantor after a head coach is out. Look at Bates, Miami didnt want him to be head coach, they wanted to get all new personnel after wannstedt left, even though bates went 3-4 with the mess in miami

Thats why I think Holmgrem might be possible. It wouldn't shock me if they went out and got him or that he wouldn't want to come back and then Favres future would be intresting. I think Sherman should be re hired if we make it back to the playoffs. He has done a great job just not a SB and he has been coaching in the middle of NE's dynasty.

i think they should try buying out Charlie Weis contract in Notre Dame. He would a good head coach to help devolp Aaron Rodgers after the Brett Favre era is gone.

I still think Sherman is a good coach. Not a good GM but a great coach. He built that offense and when he calls the plays GB was very good. I think like 6-2 last season.

the only thing keeping the Pack alive is Brett Favre. Favre is the man and when he leaves the packers are gonna struggle. Sherman should be doing everything he can to get great players in so the brett can do that last SB run like he wants to do. But Sherman isnt, hes letting Favres 2 great o-lineman go, Sharper go. Without Grady Jackson you guys get run over. With him in the game he helps take two blockers. So if he holds out that is gonna mean really bad things for your defense

Well this season letting the o-lineman and sharper go and not re doing walkers franks and jackson contract is all of ted thompsons doing. Favre is keeping this team a live and I still think they can conted.

With favre they can go 10-6. If favre wasnt there they would go 5-11. Favre is the only thing keeping this team togther

Rodgers is a Tedford guy and I won't believe he's good in the pros until I see it, A guy like Charley Frye would have been much better.

Rodgers had way to good of value at pick 24 which is why we took a QB there instead of Fyre later on.

Rodgers was a great pick at 24, but i dont think in the top 10 would be a good pick because the history of that Jeff Tedford system.

Yea he has a great chance to be something special with all of the youth on the Packers offense. Getting him to hold the ball right is the first step but I guess that is not the Packers top priorty in developing Rodgers into an NFL QB.
