    Wow...awesome read. Thanks for posting it. I was too young during the early Blazer years ('77) but I can remember everything from about '80 and on.

    Everyone focuses on the heartbreak this team has experienced. How we've become the Miss Congeneality of the NBA. I have the opposite view. I was a fan (although too young to remember a ton) before June, 1977. I remember all the wins, all the playoff appearances, all the great players and the great moments of this franchise. If you look all the way to when this franchise began in October of 1970, there are maybe six teams (LAL, BOS, HOU, DET, SA and CHI) that have better memories than we do.

    Of all the teams I root for, this one delivers more year after year after year after year. I am unabashed in my love for this team and no matter how we do in the future, I will continue to love it.

    Damn you, damn you to hell!:lol: It's true, that is the one thing that could cause me to suspend my Blazer fandom. That was an excellent bust, BTW. You know me all too well.:sigh:
