I've come to notice this increasingly from Rockfan06, YugoRocketsfan and now htownballa. They seem to find my posting in every topic consistently very annoying and the way that I seem to talk about my ideas repeatedly whenever says something I don't disagree with. htownballa lashed out a me today with an array of personal attacks, and I've decided to ask your opinions of me and of what I should do. Would you think it's wiser if I just posted when I necessarily have to and when I have something new to say? I find myself just talking about the same things over and over again, and maybe I wouldn't be as irritating to some if I'm not this active? I'm leaving on Wednesday so I'm looking for your advice and change if needed when I get back in mid August.
If you have a problem with them constantly baiting you, send them a PM about it; you're a TL and can do something about it. BTW, two more things - 1) This should have been posted in the TL forum, not the Rockets Lounge. 2) I have the same problem with those guys. I keep replying to their posts, and instead of replying back to my entire post, they just pick out 2 sentences they can argue while they ignore the rest. It's annoying, and it becomes repetitive. As for Rockfan, he's over-aggressive.
I actually posted it in the lounge because I'd wanted the opinion of Rockets posters. They visit the forum more frequently and have a better impression of how I am. Would a topic like this be too important to ask them? I made the thread in the Rockets Lounge to get the opinions of people who interact with me more often on the boards. If it isn't a problem, I'd still like to ask the members of the lounge the question. Btw, Rockfan, htownballa and Yugo are all not part of the Lounge, so they won't know, if that matters.

Their post are annoying sometimes. When I disagree on something I post my opinion but respect what everyone else has to say. Sometimes these guys dont seem to be open to other opinions. They think that their opinion is the only one that matters and put down others. Today I saw that you had to edit htownballas post due to profanity. If you have to curse to make your point then you shouldnt post at all. It's dumb. Well, I'm fine with YugoRocketsFan. He just seems to accept other people's opinions better than Rockfan06 or htownballa. He doesn't post here that much anyway so I don't think it really matters- plus he got a lot better since when he first joined JBB.
ive never even heard of htownballa rocketsfan is ok at times and yugo is too but ive never seen htownballa
Well I share opinions with alot of them, but I don't swear or flame anyone. Rockfan06 is being over aggressive when he is trying to prove his point, htownballa is just getting frustrated, he's one of those people that have to swear to try and make an impact in a discussion (he also needs to learn to use paragraph) and Yugo I just find annoying, when he was here he made in my opinion idiotic comments as well as just one lined posts which flooded up a thread.
Yugo's been fine, it's just his thing about me stuffing Turiaf down everyone's throats that got me pissed. Overall, he's become better after he came back a few weeks ago; before that....he was like htownballa. All I want to know is if I do appear to be a bit naggy to you guys as well. If so, I'll change after I come back; maybe post less.

Man, those two blew my fuse in the Swift thread. I'm trusting that none of you guys will bait them while I'm gone, especially the non-Houstonians. What Htownballa said was a whole lot of BS and do not confront him about it in other threads. Also, if you guys see anything that's breaking the guidelines from any poster in the Rockets forum, report the post. That is the fastest way to deal with it, unless of course you can get to a mod in a faster way. Thanks in advance for keeping the forum running while I'm enjoying my month on the beaches.
Well Trip, I suggest reminding those guys you are the Team Leader here, and they need to respect that. Rockfan06 has always annoyed me, I even stopped posting less because of the things he would say. At first, I thought he was like JWohl, funny sarcastic guy who still could present his opinions in a straightforward manner. Eh .. I was wrong. Not trying to bash the guy, but still, he is very annoying. Yugo, for me atleast, has been fine, the whole draft aspect .. I never got into that argument. htownballa, I just recently noticed him, and the only reason I noticed his post was the profanity and attacks on other people's posts. Of course, if it keeps happening to anyone in the Rockets Forum, we could always get a Mod like VC to do something about it (as he said he would). But Trip, don't post less, I enjoy reading these boards, though my posts (the things I say as well as the length) have dropped significantly, I am here everyday reading them. Anyone else who has a problem, I wouldn't post less, because that would make wouldn't make the Forum Family Deal we have here as special. Heck, you guys might even inspire me to post some more ( ).
Just to keep everyone updated on the situation, Rockfan06 and htownballa have both been suspended for their baiting, personal attacks, and non-commercial spam in the threads of topic. Rockfan06 will be gone for a week, and hopefully he will have toned down a bit when he comes back. As a new poster and a first time rule breaker, htownballa has only been suspended for three days, and hopefully he too will return a changed poster. I find each and every one of those guys annoying. Since it seems that they've also been pestering everyone else, I vote to give them the boot.
Just tell them to not hate the player,. hate the game! Oh and tell them the ignore button is so easy to click on if u find some1 annoying and stop whining like little bitches too. I don't know them but the way u describe them are thuggish behavior with no forum etiquette whatsoever.
Trip, stay the same and don't change just because of some idiots. They've all been annoying to the rest of us at one point or another and they're also newer members with respect to the the rest of the Rockets Fans here on JBB. Now I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite here, but I don't like people that rely on profanity or personal attacks to get their point across. I know, I know, I do it too sometimes, but I'm trying to change, and at least I do present real arguments behind my barrage of attacks...
