<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>? Summary: Alex Rodriguez' latest ninth inning home run -- this time a three-run walk-off -- provided a dramatic end to a rousing Yankee comeback that saw the bombers score six runs in the bottom of the ninth and overtake the Cleveland Indians.? Hero: Rodriguez of course... With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Rodriguez redirected a Joe Borowski fastball over the center field fence.? Goat: With the Yankees trailing 6-2, Borowski relieved to start the ninth and got his first two outs. Three times, he came within one strike of sealing a win, but couldn't get the job done.? Figure this: A-Rod continues to gain on Albert Pujols' 2006 major league record for the most homers hit in the month of April (14). Rodriguez, who's now hit 10 in 57 at-bats, is four away from tying Pujols with 11 games left in the month.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NEW YORK (AP) -- Alex Rodriguez kind of chuckled, and declared the best thing about his game-winning homer Thursday was trying to hit Yankees coach Larry Bowa in the head as he rounded third.Yes, Rodriguez is one happy superstar right now, and the Yankees are winning because of it.Rodriguez hit a three-run that capped a comeback from a four-run deficit with two outs in the ninth inning, giving the New York Yankees an 8-6 victory over the Cleveland Indians that completed a three-game sweep.By homering for the third straight game, Rodriguez increased his major league-leading totals to 10 homers and 26 RBIs. His latest drive came after he went hitless in his first four at-bats and committed a throwing error that allowed the Indians' final run to score.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Counting To 10Alex Rodriguez's three-run walk-off against the Indians was also his 10th home run of the season. While it took him just 14 games to get there, A-Rod wasn't the fastest major leaguer in history to reach No. 10.Games Player Year12 Mike Schmidt 197614 Alex Rodriguez 200714 Albert Pujols 200614 Luis Gonzalez 200115 Willie Stargell 197115 Willie Mays 1964</div>Oh, and he's the first player ever to have 2 walk off home runs of 3 or more runs in a 3 game period.

Yeah I called A-Rod bouncing back.Too bad I wasted the 1st overall pick in my fantasy draft on Pujols over him.And that last statement will confuse a lot of people.

I don't think anybody really ever questioned if A-Rod was a good hitter or not. We all know he is. That's why the majority of America thought Yankees fans are rediculous for ever booing the guy. The question is what happens when A-Rod hits his first slump of the season, which we all know is bound to come at some point. Or what happens if he manages to get cold in the playoffs again....

It's a big deal.

A-Rod's on pace to break the 715 HR record. A-Rod's on FIRE!I'm surprised on how well A-Rod is doing right now. After living with three die-hard Yankee fans, I can't help but to root for the Yankees.I can say the Yanks are my second fave team. But I don't get really pissed off when Yanks lose like my brothers do.

And when Barry breaks the record, but A-Rod has 50 Home Runs with 40 games left, what will the story be? Even more people will love A-Rod because he's not Barry and is stealing the attention away.A-Rod will break the Home Run record after Barry does, maybe before Barry is even in the Hall of Fame. Even if he doesn't play for the Yankees, people will be happy when he erases Bonds' name from the record books. That's not to say Pujols won't break the record A-Rod sets, but people will rejoice and love A-Rod for beating Barry Bonds.

And if he smashes whatever the mark will be when Tetrahydrogestrinone hangs it up for good, that be nice too. And about Pujols getting the record, no. A-Rod has been the youngest to 100, 200, 300, 400, will be the youngest if he gets 500 this year. Pujols won't be anywhere near 800
