Arguably, probably the biggest hit/RBI of the last Subway Series (2000) was delivered by Jose Vizcaino (2b) in the bottom 12th of game one. For those of us who forgot, the Yanks were under MUCHO pressure to win this series vs their intercity rival after winning the previous two WS. Still the last MLB to win three in a row. Vizcaino was in the starting lineup for the opening game and was acquired along with cash, June 20, 2000 for Jim Leyritz. Cashman was the GM.
And he goes back 15 years to a guy who hit a whopping 235 in the world series to show..............WHAT? You can't make this shit up folks.
