For Example: @BTOWN_HUSTLA from there, you share whatever is on your mind, news, opinions, links to a blog.....that is called a TWEET. Its like 140 characters or less, which is the limit of characters on a text message. Its useful most for news organizations to break news before the general population. basically its a faster way to read RSS feed news, unverified shit, etc...that's what I use it most for...more personal stuff I do on facebook. I would suggest y'all start tweeting.

when there is a @USERNAME at the start of a tweet, that is a direct reply to @USERNAME's tweet...so I'm tweeting a reply to a tweet that GORIPCITY did.
Maybe I'm missing something but twitter's only attraction seems to be for people desperate for attention and those people desperate to pay them attention. I doubt I'll ever participate at either end as I see no useful purpose for it.
no, its a faster way of getting breaking news..often faster than the TV, Radio or having someone design a webpage. Its useful for someone to share articles they found useful online or provide insight.
