<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The only thing worse for the Timberwolves than sitting around for three days, waiting for another playoff game, is sitting around for six months, waiting for a preseason game.

Don't be alarmed. No reason to panic. But the reality is, if the Wolves happen to lose Game 2 of their NBA Western Conference semifinal series against Sacramento tonight at Target Center, nothing guarantees them another home game this spring, against the Kings or anyone else.

The Wolves would fall behind 0-2 in the best-of-seven series and face Games 3 and 4 at ARCO Arena, where the Kings were 34-7 this season before winning three more at home in the first round. Only Dallas (36-5) had a better home record.

That's why fixing the problems of Game 1, a 104-98 victory way back on Tuesday, is of urgent concern. The Kings have had time to fly back and forth to the West Coast. The Wolves have had time to get it right, they hope.

Coach Flip Saunders is drawing inspiration from last spring, when the Wolves got pummeled at home in Game 1 against the Lakers, then won Game 2 impressively. That had them in control heading to Los Angeles, and they won Game 3 in overtime after Kevin Garnett fouled out, possibly the most stirring victory in team history. </div>

I completely agree that game 2 is a must win. If they lose this game, it will be even harder to win at the ARCO arena, one of the loudest and hardest place to win in the league. If they lose, the wolves will a slim chance of winning the series.

This is definately a make or brake game. Should we win, I'm almost certain the series will be tied 2-2 after 4 games. A loss on the other hand would have me expecting a fast exit out of this years playoffs.

I dont think so, I think they will win game 2, but steal a game in Sac, possibly even both 2 games. They do have KG, one of the best players in the game. HE will dominate the next three games. With the help from Cassell and Sprewell it is very possible

I said it in just-magic's game preview this is a must win. The key to this game will be making open shots & points in the paint. If the t-wolves do both well they should pull this game out.

Every win is a must win in this series. Whoever has the lead has a huge advantage, and right now the Kings have a great advantage. If we win this one, we will have more confidence going into Arco.

This is a must win for the Wolves, the only person who had a stellar offensive night was Cassel if all three of them play well on the offensive end, then they can win this series.
