...call it "the HR Derby curse" or whatever, but I had noticed that pitchers had started pitching Judge differently recently ...he's getting a steady diet of breaking balls (low and away) , especially in a 2 strike count...Judge simply cannot lay off of them and cannot hit them and seems to be having trouble picking up or anticipating/differentiating the FB vs the breaking ball...Sanchez seems to be in the same funk. ...here's a pretty good write up on the subject; http://www.espn.com/blog/new-york/y...struggle-how-mlb-has-caught-up-to-aaron-judge
Saw that article this am. During the last Boston Series it was mentioned about Judges performance dipped when playing the Red Sox. And when that shit gets around it spreads like wildfire. I invented new swear words at some of the swings I saw Judge & Sanchez taking against opposing pitchers. I once heard Judge say that he had .179 prominently posted on his cell phone if he started slipping. Well Aaron take a look and start adjusting . Sanchez needs to do the same as well. On the 70's Phillies it was as Schmidt & Luzinki go so go the Phillies. If we say as Judge & Sanchez go so go the Yankees over the last few weeks this team is in trouble. Straighten it out guys we need to think you are people we can cheer for in the coming seasons.
^^^^^yep. What they said! The kids must adjust; besides, by season's end Judge & Sanchez will no longer be kids.......... especially when they have made the proper adjustments!
