Aaron Thompson began his major league career Wednesday. Jason Grilli restarted his career a little more than a month ago. That duo combined to help beat the team that's been playing as well lately as any in major league baseball. Thompson pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings in his big league debut and Grilli won for the first time in nearly two years as four Pittsburgh pitchers combined on a five-hitter in the Pirates' 2-0 win against the Milwaukee Brewers.
