I keep reading everywhere that the Nets' workouts are much tougher, and different from other teams' workouts - I've read it specifically from ESPN the mag (Courtney Lee thing) and from an article about Hibbert (I'll look it up and find it, if requested). I've read it in a few other places. I think this is interesting - for one, lately, most of our picks weren't even worked out with us. The exception being everyone in the 2006 NBA Draft. Anyways, I wish I could see one of these draft workouts. Anyone know of any videos or anything from the workouts?
There's no workout video and its rare that the beat reporters even get into for the last few minutes. Other teams, the Blazers, Grizz and Bobcats, shoot the workouts and interviews and edit them for their websites. Nets are very much behind the times on this one. As for workouts. 2000 - Martin worked out...dont know about Samaki (dont care either) 2001 - RJ and Collins worked out...dont know about Armstrong or Scalabrine. 2002 - Krstic didn't, was a big secret to keep the Spurs and Kings from moving up. Don't think Slay worked out. 2003 - Planinic worked out and got a guarantee at the workout. Korver was a Sixer pick. 2004 - Drejer did not work out. Nets had scouted him at Florida before he fled to Spain. 2005 - Neither Wright nor Ilic worked out. 2006 - Boone worked out twice. Adams worked out and broke his foot. Williams refused to work out. 2007 - Williams had a private workout for Thorn and Stefanski in Houston two days before the draft.

NI, what was up with that one link you had on NetsDaily to someone talking about one of the workouts, that was later taken down?
