To make the crowd size appear larger than what it was. Now if only he can get them to do that for his hands. What a fucking joke. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/06/donald-trump-inauguration-crowd-size-photos-edited Taking bets on how long it takes for maris to claim fake news.
While leaving Maris61 out of this, I agree, it's mind numbing that we have to call this extremely amoral President "Mr. President".
I find it mind numbing that pieces of crap have a venue to spill their tripe about the duly elected President.
our constitution guarantees that america is that venue. maybe the mind numbing is from something else.
impunity - exemption from punishment or freedom from the injurious consequences of an action yeah, americans should be able to speak with impunity. as much as i hate to see it sometimes. but hey, thats our constitution. take it or leave it i guess.
You mean you can actually shoot and kill someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it and your base will support you even more?
Well yeah, but propriety use to cause people to save the gratuitous tripe for those that wish to hear it. Now these low life mothers spew it out just to insult their fellow countrymen from afar with impunity.
So editing photos to help soothe trumps ego because Obamas innauguration had better attendance is considered normal? That doesn't seem petty to you?
well, like i said, blame the constitution. being able to say something around people who dont want to hear it is kinda the entire point. that being said, if you say the wrong thing to the wrong person, you might get your teeth knocked out. which is of course assault, and against the law. but nevertheless a possibility that generally keeps people in line for the most part. Are you ready to start a career as an fledgling free clinic dental assistant? do you have the confidence in your moral convictions to make these people pay with their incisors? are you ready to catch a weird infection in your knuckles? If you dont like what people are saying, complaining that they are allowed to say it, in america, probably isnt the most direct avenue towards your final destination.
What I notice is, people have lost there sense of propriety. No doubt because their are free in their remote security from paying any price. It does not make them more free, wiser, or better citizens. Remote anonymity simply frees them to be the assholes they are, to insult their countrymen at any moment. Insulting the President and thereby the citizens that elected him is mindless childish behavior that most would never engaged in face to face. But from their keyboard, they are super heroes to their cloud crowd.
I can sense your personal frustration, certainly. As you well know, anonymity often exacerbates the self perceived righteousness of personal thought, to the point of unearned, nearly endless shrieking into the faceless void of digital interaction, creating a permanently ingrained caricature of all who dare listen, or more bravely, respond. There is also an inverse, a nearly unendurable effort to outmaneuver each other in a deathrace hurling infinitely faster towards indignant retaliation, where people just fucking whine about it all day.
