The Champions League holders issued a statement on the club website stating that no less than five of the 11 matches so far this season had resulted in adverse results for them on account of poor decisions by the referee. "Enough is enough," read the statement. "Siena-Milan (1-1), Palermo-Milan (2-1), Milan-Catania (1-1), Milan-Empoli (0-1) and Milan-Torino (0-0): there are five matches of the 11 played so far in which Milan was clearly let down by refereeing decisions." Milan - who were judged along with Juventus by an independent study that after seven matches they were the most harshly treated which had cost them five and four points respectively - said that they were not looking for favours, only fairplay from the referees. "They say in these cases, that over the course of a championship that errors and favours balance out. But at Milan, as always, it is not the favours that interest us, but the fair decisions." AC Milan are just seventh in Serie A with only three wins (all of them away from home) and trail city rivals Inter by 10 points, which could be extended to 13 should Inter beat Juventus later on Sunday.</div></p>
