First off, stop calling grown black men Boys. Let's just end that practice for the rest of your life. Secondly, They should've let Draymond and KD handle it. Saying "you are forced to apologize" is some bullshit. They weren't saying KD needed to apologize. They didn't look at the situation holistically. KD was JUST as much at fault for the argument as DG was and to only go to DG and say apologize means they didn't know WTF was going on but tried to control the situation when really, they just needed to get them both in a room... Then leave... They'd still have KD if they did that.
i don't even know where to begin with this antiquated and baseless logic. don't feel like engaging today. you have your opinions, i have mine. oh jesus, this shit again. nothing @calvin natt said had ANY racial undertones.
Except that wasn't a personal attack. That was a statement. If you're not understanding my point, I'm going to tell you that you're not understanding my point. Which was clearly illustrated by you not addressing what I was actually saying.
Telling you to eat a dick isn't an attack either. You could easily say no I'm not interested in that particular pastime. Also, telling someone not to call black men boys says NOTHING about why they said it, just that they shouldn't.... I guess Green should've stayed in his place during his "You need to apologize" meeting...
Dude. It's just a full stop. It doesn't matter what context you use it in. You don't have to have any undertones or anything. Just full stop on referring to us as boys. You wouldn't say that to a black man's face so why say it here? It's not that hard...
He knows. He explained. He doesn't feel the word boys should ever be used when describing black men which is understandable.
It never crossed my mind that you can’t use the sarcastic term “time to be big boys and grow up” because somehow it’s the same as the racist “boy”. Anyway. Carry on.
We all have to decolonize our minds. Jussayin, It doesn't matter the context. We literally had to die to be called man in this country and folks still refer to us as boys. Just take the medicine bro. I know it's nasty.
