This is a horrible crime. A persons opinion on guns isn't relevant. But since you seem to want to have the conversation I'll oblige. Oregon has passed more gun restrictions since 2015 than in all in all of it's history. Yet violent crime and murder rates with guns have increased since then... Including mass murders. I'd suggest we stop distracting people with talk of guns and instead focus on the real problems like increasing access to education, healthcare, and improving our social safety nets and police and judicial systems
