OT Actor Harry Anderson, Star of 'Night Court,' Dies at 65

    Actor Harry Anderson, star of the television show "Night Court" who also appeared on "Cheers," "Saturday Night Live" and other television shows, has died, according to police in North Carolina.

    He was 65.

    The Asheville, North Carolina, police on Monday released the following statement: "This morning at 641 am the Asheville Police Department responded to the home of actor Harry Anderson where he was found deceased. No foul play is suspected."

    Anderson played Judge Harry Stone on NBC's "Night Court" from 1984 to 1992.

    I loved Harry's work...amazing magician...sorry he passed too young...I got to see Marsha Warfield's standup once....that Nightcourt show had some supreme comedic talent.....

    Say it isn't so. I am stunned by the death of Harry Anderson. I have always admired his work, from his days at SNL, to Cheers, to Night Court. I will always remember him as Richie Tozier from It. A great actor and magician. My late father who was also a magicin, always talked of meeting him at the Magic Castle. RIP Harry. Beep Beep Richie. So long Harry the Hat. We've lost another one guys.
