    I always liked his work, loved the movie he made with Shirley McClaine about the Andes and her spiritual quest....best known for his home alone gig....UncleCliffy'sDaddy said folks think he looks like John Goodman...I've always claimed he looks like John Heard

    My Wife told me about this when I woke up. For some reason my brain thought of John Hurt, and I was in the midst of explaining to her that he had already died in Janurary....before she said John Heard not John Hurt...the Home Alone dad. I always liked him. Just saw him the other day in a CSI Miami rerun. RIP John
