Interesting, since the Ducks are so mum about injuries.

Well that will affect his accuracy

Yeah, he did pretty well for playing with a broken finger. Still, you have to wonder if he might have made that throw for a touchdown on the final drive to give the Ducks the lead if his finger had been healthy. That broken finger may have cost the game.

Or maybe he shouldn't have been playing at all.

Maybe, but I've never seen enough out of Lockie to think he would have done better.

A broken finger makes sense given his play & gloves, but I read your link & didn't see where the Ducks said his finger was broken. Some anonymous source said so, which given O-live's embarrassing history of dressing up nonsense for hits doesn't resonate much for me.

If it is broken or could benefit from rest, I would really prefer to see Lockie in this weekend's game. VA showed enough game & comfort with the offense in his first two weeks to take an expected blowout game off. Teams will be targeting that hand now... hopefully they'll let him get right and not have this linger

I would start Lockie. To be honest, I'm kinda curious to see what he can do as the starter.

Saw that Vernon himself has now stated he has a broken finger... maybe he was the source?
