[Thursday, October 11, 2007]
Emmanuel Adebayor puts his flying start to the season down to a frustrating summer.
The Togolese striker headed off on international duty this week after registering six goals in six Premier League games, including his first Arsenal hat-trick against Derby and a brace in the north London derby at White Hart Lane.
Adebayor is just two short of his Premier League tally for the whole of last season and believes that a pre-season injury gave him the spur he needed.
"I had an injury when I was [at the pre-season training camp] in Austria and this frustrated me a great deal," he said.
"When I came back I was really angry and hungry. This is one of the reasons that explains why I have had such a good start to the season."
http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?thisNav...ngry+and+hungry

He's doing great so far. I hope he continues his form and should be in the running for the EPL player of the year.

Him and Van Persie are a great team. Power and Pace with Adebayor and Skill and Poise with Van Persie. Perfect.
