<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The agent of 18-year-old USA midfielder star Freddy Adu is hoping to speak to Celtic next week. Richard Motzkin, Adu's LA-based agent, told the Scottish Sun: "Celtic are coming out for the MLS All-Stars game and I'll be there. "My sole reason for going isn't to speak to Celtic - but some might say it would be a good time to talk. "Freddy has always said he wants to go Europe and any player would have a lot of respect for a club like Celtic." Adu, who won his first senior cap at the age of 16, is currently playing at the Under-20 World Cup. And the Real Salt Lake player has performed well in Canada, helping USA to reach the quarter final stage - where they will be fancied to beat Austria on Saturday. Adu left his native Ghana at the age of eight and had earned a million-dollar deal from sportswear giant Nike by the time he turned 14. </div> Again I dont know very much about this so called wonderkid except that he tore Celtic apart last pre-season in DC Utd's 4-1 victory over Celtic but I have also heard when he becomes a little more mature that he will be one of the best in the world.... however I dont listen to rumours until I see them... but none the less... If Celtic are going to want him Im all for it Hail Hail.
He came over and trained at Man Ure last year for 2 weeks. They sent him packing and said he hasn't improved as was first thought he might.
