I'm waiting to see what the status is of Rivers and Tomlinson before I make any predictions. It might not matter if they are healthy or not because the Pats offense looks unstoppable, but the Chargers secondary has been on point the past few weeks and they might have luck on their side.

Honestly, I think the Chargers are not releasing much about the injuries on purpose. Tomlinson said he expects to play, he'll be good to go. It's the biggest game of his life.

Rivers was on the radio yesterday and said he'd have to be put in a straight jacket to be held off of the field. He said that he could've gone back in if the team needed him on Sunday, but the coaches felt that Volek had it under control.

I'm not worried about these two, they'll be playing.

How effective are they going to be though? It's still early in the week and there will be better updates by Friday.

That might not be a bad idea considering his behavior on the sideline. Any chance Norv looks into that? Of course, they'd need a quick release for when the offense had to go back on the field.

Shape, honestly, I think they'll both be fine. Tomlinson could've gone back in, but Turner was a better matchup against the colds. His power > their speed. Same for Rivers, they'll both be fine. Optimism shape!

I believe the main reason the Chargers will lose is because of Rivers and his temper. I believe Brady might get hit a few times by Philips and Merriman but the secondary isn't good enough to stop Wes Welker even if they do focus on Randy Moss. TRICK PLAY!!!

I will pray for the Chargers but I just hope they don't play like the Jags did last week. The Chargers need to put pressure on Brady but not overdo the deep coverage on Moss the way Jacksonville did.

I'd rather the Chargers win...but I just can't see it happening. They're bang up and going against a team that is pretty much just ridiculous.

Game time is less than 6 hours away and I'm getting extremely anxious. This is the biggest game in their career for a fair share of players on the Pats team including today's X-Factor Laurence Maroney.

Chargers with great field position after a Brady interception.

Patriots 7-3 in the 2nd quarter...the offense wasn't in any sort of consistent rhythm at all for the Patriots. The Chargers defense is arguably the best in the league and has done a good job at pressuring him. Can everybody else agree that LT is being a little bitch? Didn't he leave the Indy game with a "bruised knee"?

LT is the star of this team and it's the biggest game that he'll ever play in. How's he gonna sit out if the angry German kid is gonna play with a partially torn ACL?
