this has always been my favorite division for AFC.

i have always liked the Chiefs.

the chiefs have had monster success running the ball the last few years, and i see no reason for that to stop now.

Also, Chargers. Antonio Gates had a great season last year, but dont count on that again. once the Defenses got used to the new rule changes, the TEs werent as much of a threat.

    so i predict this:

    Kansas City
    Denver
    San Diego
    Oakland

Oakland will have an interesitng resurgance on offense, but I'm not sure the defense will be good enough to keep them winning enough games to go to the post season.

Kansas City seems to have upgraded their defense, but we'll see. They keep "appearing" to be better, but never actually get better.

Just not sure if Denver won't be the worst team in the West.

San Diego should build on their terrific season. If Brees wasn't a one year wonder, they should end up winning a tighter division than people would expect.

Denver's poor drafts the last 3 years will finally come back to haunt them. I cannot see them winning more than 8 games this year. Bringing the Cleveland castoffs wont fix their D-Line problem, which should make them very easy to run on. Rod Smith isn't getting any younger, and Lelie needs to step up to his 1st round ability. Plummer just throws way too many picks for them to have solid ball control. I don't get why they traded Droughns, who stepped up greatly for them last year. Shanahan has a huge ego, and thinks his "system" is so great, that he can just plug anyone in and be able to produce. It may have worked in the past, but I cant see it happening this year.

I say San Diego, mainly because of the terrific three: Brees, Tomlinson, and Gates. Maybe Oakland but their defence WILL leak when they go against the Chargers.

I dont think tht it will be Moss hurting them but it will be their QB. They need to find a solid QB.

Kansas City - Completely unbiased pick
    San Diego - I believe Marty...I believe
Oakland - Moss will help, but they should finish ahead of Denver with or without him.
Denver - How the mighty have fallen

Unbiased. Right! [IMG] I suppose you will be telling me that Jack Bauer is a mild mannered CPA. [IMG]

Boo hoo! I'm all broken up about this. Maybe another 8-8 finish & drafting Clarett will spell the end of Howdy doody in the mile high city
