Former NFL defensive lineman Al Lucas died on Sunday from a presumed spinal cord injury sustained while trying to make a tackle for the Los Angeles Avengers during an Arena Football League game. Lucas, only 26 years old, died from a presumed spinal cord injury.

Keep family and friends in your prayers.

I saw this earlier today. What a tragedy. My thoughts are with all the family and friends of Al Lucas.

If that was supposed to be a joke, it wasn't funny.
