When the African Cup comes back, many top players from Europe will go missing for their club but who will be affected the most? <ul> [*]Arsenal will miss Eboue and Toure [*]Chelsea will miss their goalscorer [*]United will be unaffected by this [*]Liverpool will miss Momo Sissoko [/list] Which will be the biggest loss
It's reasonable to say Chels might be nadgered! Drogs/Essien/Kalou/Geremi all potentially missing for a month or so. Oh well lets wait and see.
It makes me laugh when managers moan about this. They know when they buy these players that this happens.Biggest moaning culprit for this recently was Fat Head Sam(england manager my arse. You think its bad now but we had a lucky escape ther I tell you)
Big Sam is a great manager IMO. Gets good league positions out of Bolton who were in the 2nd division 6 years back.
I've always liked Big sam and always will. I'd have him as England manager over Mclaren or even Benitez any day
Chelsea... They need Drogba who just cant stop scoring at the moment if they have any chance of catching United..
I'm not saying he hasn't done well to get Bolton where they are, but his style of play is atrocious. Just look at the crowds they get. If his style was good the Reebok would be packed.I just hate they way he plays the poor man card,he's as bad as O'dreary was with his young lards
Bolton stadium has never been packed and i enjoy his style, especially when they play Arsenal. Plus they have entertaining players on there team as well as England have.
Ive actually got a transcript of a Fat Sam teamtalk. Right lads at the first and every oppurtunity fall over when someone comes within 5 yards of you and try to win a free kick. Then if we get it I want all the big lads in the box. Kevin (Davies) "yes boss" You got your elbows sharpened? "yes boss" right then you launch yourself at their biggest try to elbow his nose don't worry where the ball goes just try to take him out. "yes boss i know the score and if he gets me 1st I roll about as though ive been shot" You got it thats my boy. Next tactic: Try to get as many throw ins off their players as you can. Even if theres an easy pass inside go for the deflection 1st. Then when weve got the throw in what happens then? (everyone)" we overload the box boss" Correct boys well done .Now go out there I'll get my speech ready about being a small club and they don't like being tackled why you lot fall over at every opportunity. Douify how many dives last week "err 23 boss" and what did I ask for? "33 boss" well get your act together. Other than that enjoy yourselves lads! Obviously this wasn't a taken before a Man United match because we all know that no one gets free kicks against them!
HaHa very funny. Cant you remember the blatant pen at Anfield when we came on Saha. Anyway since when do Liverpool play attractive football?
No it wasnt(attractive football) but it was against the run of play. You created about 4 decent chances, probably two you should have of scored. It wasnt mind blowing football and usually your games are boring to watch and stats proved last year that you produced the most long balls.

A long ball game it surely wasn't it was very high tempo and accurate passing. If we would of had our shooting boots on you couldn't of complained at 4/5 -1. Arsenal great attractive play but wheres that got them. I remember Roy Evans' team at Liverpool ,great to watch but no killer instinct ,100 passes but no yardage.Anyone can keep the ball but Arsenal tend to go sideways too much and unless i'm mistaken the goalposts are at each end not in the middle!
