So you guys think we play much better even if we make no moves and don't fire the coach?

I remember hearing that rumors and possible firings and trades sometimes get into players, fans and coaching staffs. I don't know if it applies to the blazers but I suspect everyone on the blazer team, with the exception if Aldridge feel like they could be traded.

Maybe, just maybe when the dust settles, we turn things around. Fingers crossed.

If we make no moves I think we play better just because I can't imagine us playing any worse.

Much better? Well, they couldn't play much worse, so anything other than what they've been doing over the past couple of weeks would indicate improvement. Let's just say I don't expect them to metamorphose into a good team, but I expect that certain guys who haven't been playing all that hard will be gone and it will mean a steady diet of Nolan, Babbitt, Johnson and Williams in their respective places (I'll let you infer who's gonna be gone based on that list) and the effort levels and on-court chemistry might actually get better even if the rate of wins and losses doesn't change appreciably.

If we don't make any trades I expect Camby to go down for the season with an injury and Felton to show up on the Biggest Loser.

It's like McMillan's 2nd-half "adjustments." There's nowhere to go but up.

It is a big IF, but if they can win 2 more games on this trip then I think they could turn it around as the 16 games after the big road trip gives them an opportunity to get better. It's possible. We just need to find two more wins.
