And the Gov. Of CaliFORNia is done speaking, how do you think that the Cavs will do? I'm saying they get red hot, hopefully win on the 20th because I go that night, and they make the playoffs

I think they will sign one of the avaliable free agents out there and possibly make a huge trade before the deadline. We will make the playoffs, I do have faith.

Haha, that won't happen, but you can dream right? I think the Cavs would trade Z away soon enough, and the playoffs would not be impossible.

06-07 would sound like a better chance for that game.

I think we will do just fine after this break, get hot, and a 3 game winningstreak then lose a game or two then get a streak again!
We'll reach the playoffs, but be beaten in the first round!

Our first 3 games after the beak are brutal. They will tell a lot about our chances in the 2nd half.

I'm not as optimistic about our playoff hopes as I was a couple weeks ago. Getting crushed 2 out of our last 3 was not a good sign. We are still a very poor all around defensive team and we still need another scoring threat.

I've got my fingers crossed that we'll make a deal for a shooter before the deadline comes, but who knows.

Would it REALLY hurt Paxson to sign Glen Rice to a 10-day?

wow Mobley is exactly what they need...with Moble in it I can almost Garantee they will make the playoffs..and maybe up to the 2nd round ...but if that doesn't happen I think next season will be awesome for the Cavs...

Brent Barry, Snow and Mobley are all pretty much available for trades or free agency. They'd be a real asset if you ask me. Great speed and defense from all of them, plus great on offense with the exception of Snow. It could just be the balance, that the Cavaliers need.

I also suggest this trade for the Nuggets. They could play bench for them as well, either way it'd be good for you. I'd think they wouldn't be too happy about that though.

Maybe they could sign Walt Williams during the season(he still is a FA, right?), good veteran and a good 3pt shooter. Would fit well on the Cavs, well at least i think he would

Eric Snow isn't a outside shooting threat, so picking him up at this point wouldn't be helping us out much.

Brent Barry is still sidelined with his broken hand and won't be back for another month or so. I'd like to get Barry though, hopefully we can sign him over the summer.

I don't know why Paxson doesn't sign Rice. He doesn't have a whole lot left in the tank, but the jump shots stays around long after the hops and quickness fade.

I'd like to see Z and Newble gone before the trade deadline, but I doubt anyone wants Newble's contract.

Why does everyone STILL think the Nuggets need a trade? Does nobody know they are 31-23? [IMG]

Who else saw the interview with J.R. Rider? How would he look in wine and gold? He can score, that's for sure, and last I remember he had a decent outside shot.

LOL. He might look good in the uniform, but this isn't a damn fashion show.

Any Cav fan will tell you that J.R. Rider will destroy your team's chemisty, and be a detriment to Lebron's progess.

He can flat out score, but unless there were some serious problems upstairs he'd still be in the league. Stick WELL clear.

Rider was given one too many chances, I stay clear indeed.

I don't know, people grow up and mature. Rider seems that he has done that. I wouldn't decline signing him to a 10 day. Then see if he is a good asset, if he isn't then waive him, simple.
