Personally, I agree. IMO, this has as much, or more, to do with flat-out insubordination, as it does sloppy posture (simply, the straw). In fact, it would be hard for me to believe that anyone might take it any other way. Of course, my overall conclusion would take into account the context of his entire rocky tenure with the Bengals. I applaud the Bengals. Football, more than any other major sport, is a team sport. The best teams are generally the most disciplined. He has a responsibility to his teammates and the organization to give his best effort at all times. Good for Marvin Lewis. He knows he's getting canned at the end of the year. He's going to go out on his terms.
Do you know anything about a situation in San Francisco, whereas Mike Singletary went off on some player (regarding lack of team citizenship, insubordination, or such) during a post-game press conference? IIRC, Singletary was somewhat lambasted for his antics.
