he Agua Caliente Clippers (1-0) cruise to a 115-101 victory over the G League Ignite (0-2) to record the victory in the first game of their 2021-22 campaign.

LA Clippers assignee Keon Johnson led Agua Caliente with 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field. He added seven rebounds and four assists to round out his statline.

Amir Coffey followed closely with 22 points, going six-of-nine from 3-point range.

Ignite's Jaden Hardy, who played high school hoops at Coronado High School in nearby Henderson, Nev., finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two assists. He finished second in scoring only behind MarJon Beauchamp's 27 points. Beauchamp added six rebounds and one assist.

Hardy scored 14 of Ignite's 24 first-quarter points, connecting on all four of his 3-pointers, but the Clippers led 31-24.

It was Beauchamp who emerged in the second quarter, shooting 4-6 from the floor. By halftime, both Beauchamp (14 points) and Hardy (19) had both reached double figures, but the Clippers' 44.9 shooting percentage (22-49) kept them in the lead and Ignite trailed, 55-47.

Agua Caliente shot 50 percent in the third quarter to extend its lead to 83-70. The Clippers continued to cruise through the rest of the game despite Ignite's best scoring quarter, tallying 31 points in the final 12 minutes.

Agua Caliente returns to Michelob ULTRA Arena Thursday to complete the back-to-back with the G League Ignite. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
