I hear it's a hard process to go through and in the end all you finish with are destroyed knees. If you can somehow avoid injury then it works perfectly, my friend gained 13 inches on his vertical from it. For every 1 person who gains results, 3-4 stop because of shin splints, jumpers knee, chronic headaches, or they aren't gaining any results.
HORRIBLE PROGRAM!!!LISTEN... Air Alert WILL increase your vert if you have never lifted weights before or are inactive. BUT, it will absolutely tear up knees and give you severse shin splints (which is what I experienced). This is because of severe overtraining. Doing thousands of jumps per workout, 3-5x per week is EXTREME overtraining. This eventually wears out cartiledge in knees and puts an incredible amount of stress on shins, and it causes injuries.I did AA 2 years ago, and while I gained a few inches of vert, I also had BAD shin splints for about a year.
Sorry to go off-topic, but since we are talking about leg injuries..I noticed that when I bend my legs my right knee cracks like hell. It doesn't hurt at all, but it is scaring the crap out of me. Has anyone else gotten his?

I did it for about 5 weeks or so, and I noticed my knees to really be hurting. It's not as bad now, but maybe because it's been over a year.I liked the idea of the jump until you hurt, but you actually get hurt. If you catch my drift.
dont do this. I stopped at aroundweek 3 after I could barely walk and gained 2 inches, which I lost shortly after.
Damn, I have this program an have not used it yet. This scares me.I want to use it, but I don't have Shin Splints... I don't even know what that is!Is there any other methods for gaining a massive vertical, cause I can't dunk now an it is driving me CRAZY!!!
Gain strength (squats, deadlifts, good mornings, etc...), get your squat up to at least 1.5x your bodyweight (ie- if you're 150lbs, you should be able to squat 225lbs). Once that isa done, you can start transferring that strength into explosive power with jumpsquats and speed squats. Once that is done, then you can do plyometrics like depth jumps, rim jumps, cone hops, sprints, etc...
Dont do air alert. It wil f*ck you up. I should know. While teh program did giev me soem results, I payed to dearly for them, in my knees. I have horrible knees and can no longer get up high, they are in usch bad shape that I might have to get soem surgery that woull take me out a whole year. The program gave me a 5 inch gain by week 5, but then suddenly I started getting knee pain, and have never been the same since.
