He is really the most impressive rookie I've seen in Atlanta since I've started following the team. His rebounding #'s are great, but I think the most impressive aspect of his game is probably his intelligence. And his 1 on 1 defense, not just blocking shots, is so advanced for a first year player. Right now he's not scoring, but I think after around February he will be scoring more consistently.</p> </p> There's a handful of rookies that were picked after Al that are playing very good as well but it looks like our handicapped GM might have finally gotten one right.</p>
He needs to be used on offense more, it seems that when he gets the ball, his only job is to hand it to Joe, I can see it bothers him.</p>
I would love to see some isolation for him on the block. He is very impressive as you said, he just needs to get the ball more consistently and then show what he can do with it.</p>
