Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson remained in a walking boot Monday to protect his injured left foot and will be reevaluated Wednesday to determine his status for Game 2 of a playoff series against the Miami Heat. Jefferson is being treated for plantar fasciitis, an injury he sustained late in the first quarter of Sunday's 99-88 loss to Miami in the playoff opener. Jefferson received two numbing injections during the game and finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in 35 minutes.
