Albelda: Chelsea Did Not Deserve To win
David Albelda believes that Valencia outplayed Chelsea and should not have lost against the Blues in the tightly fought Champions League encounter on Wednesday.
The Spanish international midfielder was adamant that Los Ché were unlucky and that their overall performance deserved something. After David Villa had put the hosts ahead, goals from Joe Cole and Didier Drogba gave Chelsea a victory that had Albelda shaking his head. "Chelsea did not deserve to win," he stated. "Valencia were superior in the game but, like last season, when we have scored the first goal we have not finished the job. "Against a side at that level that is dangerous. "Even if they are not playing so well in the Premiership, they are still able to win in any stadium. But we must not be too disappointed because we have played a really good match. "It's a shame of course but these things happen in football. We have to live with it. It was a great contest between two very good teams. It was very close, it turned on small moments. "In so many ways it reminded me of the game we had with them last season. We had more of the ball than Chelsea but in the second half maybe we defended too much. "Still, with four matches in the group to go I am optimistic about our qualification." Despite his disappointment, Albelda found time to praise Chelsea's match winner as he revealed his admiration for Drogba after he netted the decisive goal. "Drogba is sensational," he added. "For me he was the key in Mestalla and not only because of the goal but his movement as well."

Nah Valencia played well but Drogba's goal was pretty good and in the end they ran out deserved winners
