Found this to be funny. Also still really puzzled as to why it came down to sam Antonio and the Suns of all places. If it was really that difficult, why were the Suns even in the running? http://www.thescore.com/nba/news/797307
Yeah, us dumb Portland fans who know nothing about basketball don't understand why he left. This is stupid, and I don't know which side to believe. I don't even care about Aldridge anymore. Let him move on, let us move on...
The comments on that article are funny. So many "nope, we don't boo, we love you!" type comments. That was all just spin to make himself appear better. His sentiment was just as phony in this as it was in that "letter".
I think it would kill him more with the fans being silent and our team kicks the Spurs's ass every time we meet.
you might be right that and dame making a poster out of him and then just giving him the stare. you know the one I'm talking about.
Aldridge can go Fuck himself. Stop talking about us. We don't give a shit about you anymore. Move on. Your personality is someone else's problem now.
I wish that when Tex is announced for the first time at the MODA, the entire audience would turn their backs and react with dead silence. Literally a moment of dead silence. That's my dream. Like most dreams, it won't happen. Oh, well.
I'm not mad at him, and I don't hate him. But I am disappointed. If he hadn't wrote that defensive "Fuck You, Portland" letter to the fans, I'd feel much differently about him.
He chose a different team and we've reloaded the roster with young guys. It's no longer about him. He's not even worth the time and effort to boo. I'm with Mags on the silence towards LA and kick his team's ass every time!
He's trying to save face... I think it shows that he's upset he'll get booed so he's trying to say things that may ease it. Funny how he says he's etched in the history books here too.. more like his name appears on past rosters..
How many times would I boo Tool #12 when he came to the Moda Center? I'll let Lebron take it from here...
My second cousin from Dundee (Scotland, not Oregon) is the spitting image of Begbie. Maybe not quite as much of s psychopath though.
my take on the booing of LA is simply this, you get one season to get it out of your system. after that, it will just be kinda lame. so we have one or two games to do it, and for anyone saying "aww, don't boo him!" listen, it's the rules. you're center piece walks away, you're obligated per unwritten rule of sports to boo the man when he makes his return.
