Scored 23 points including what would be the game winning shot in our first win of the season against the Spurs. http://www.nba.com/games/20081031/SASPOR/playbyplay.html
wow you are such a hater, no rhyme or reason at all. *cues up chappelles show player haters ball* "hate hate hate hate hate" you need to fall back
Whatever Aldridge did before that game, he needs to start repeating because his head is messed up right now. The only time he's making anything is when he's being aggressive. Before every jump shot now he's doubting himself. It's getting ugly.
Remember against Sac in Sac where he scored like 7 straight buckets? That was tight. He needs to step up like that more.
LA will be just fine. If you look at his per-36 stats - he is only 2.4 less points, less than half a rebound less (despite the fact that he is now playing next to two dominant rebounders instead of just one last year) but his steals are actually up - and this is with a pretty long shooting slump. He will get out of the shooting slump and there is no reason to expect him to stop his defensive advancements and steals when he does that. Even with his slump he is still an effective player for us. No worries from me on him.
Even the best forwards have slumps. Duncan in 2000-01 season had 8 games in November (just like Aldridge, strange coincidence) where he shot 138 attempts and only made 58 shots. That's 42%. Duncan ended up being a pretty good forward. This took me like 5 minutes to research. I'm guessing there are countless other occurrences over the decades.
I am not worried about LA. He will break out of the slump and learn to play with Greg. Without looking at his stats, it is easy to tell he has improved, and he will continue to improve. To those people saying he hasn't progressed, you haven't been watching closely. He has CLEARLY gotten better at playing in the post, back to the basket. He has developed some moves down there which will be unstoppable. He did not posses these last year. Once these shots start going in, he'll be a force.
LMA will def. be ok. I mean he struggled immensely last game, and still found a way to get a double-double and play good D. Nate said he is taking him to watch tape... honestly, I think this will actually make him BETTER in the long run. He will be fine. He is one of my favorite players.

Lamarcus could still end up being the teams leading scorer, if not this year, in years down the line. He's a great talent and a ten day shooting slump doesn't change that fact. He's got just about the best work ethic on the team.
True, I wish Lamarcus would just go down low and bang while his jumper isn't falling, but he'll be fine. He'll get back in the groove before long. Same with Greg, but I think it will be a little longer process.
