How do you guys feel about Sasha? He is only 23 years old and I like his ability. I like how he can shoot, he is quick, his size, he plays hard, he isn't scared to shoot the ball. But here is the problem, this is his fourth year in the league and he doesn't seem to be growing greatly as a player. Sure he has learned things, but he makes to many rookie mistakes still. He makes two shots and he thinks he is the only guy on the court, he wants the ball in his hands the next play and he won't make the shot. When he starts trying hard (you can tell when he is forcing things) he won't make shots. He can be very sloppy when handling the ball and his aggressiveness is as much bad as good. When he gets aggressive, he gets called for a charge or defensive foul, it seems like, 3 out of 4 times. Whenever Sasha seems to do something good, he always seems to make a way to screw it up.For example, Sasha made a great cut to the hoop and James got him the ball tonight against the Grizzlies. He catches the ball and has the choice of making a reverse or going straight up, he does neither. He picks up the ball (or trys too), takes his one and a half steps (well in the NBA you get 3 or 60 if you want), and he trys to make a layup, the problem is he never picked up the ball with his hands and fingers, the ball was just laying on his arms, so he clanks the ball off the bottom of the rim. It falls right in front of him, but the Grizzlies pick it up. Stuff like this seems to happen as often as something good does.Last year, we had to pick up Murray because Sasha just wasn't getting the job done as a starter. He would have a good night and then completely screw something up.I can't decide if I like him or not. He seems to have potential and talent, but he never seems to be growing much as a player.
