    the Tim Rattay was flat out horrible against that bad secondary of the cardinals. Alex Smith came in with some confidence and did good at the end. His cofidence will be broken some time soon

    Yea I would of started him next week. So he had the bye week to get used to the first team offense and work with them more.

    At least he didn't get blamed for his first loss like Kyle Orton and the Bears.

    Yea, they should have waited for the bye week. He only really had 5 days to prepare. With media attention and presure, he was never going to produce!
