On NFL ALL Access tonight, Alex Smith was asked how Utah's offense compared to pro offenses and he said that Urban Meyer and Scott Linehan designed the offense together....that started me thinking about the possibility that Dolphins might be thinking about Smith at #2....Saban has stated that if they stay put they will take the best player reguardless of position, I wonder if a QB is being considered....
I have never heard that Linehan was involved w/ Meyer in developing an offense that could best be described as a cross between Sprrier's Fun & gun and the read option. I haven't looked to see if UM & SL were assistant colleges coaches together anywhere. I know Meyer was primarily @ Notre Dame & Colorado St
