Two press releases today regarding Shaun Alexander's "interest" in playing for Tampa Bay and Miami. He says he will pursue both teams if Seattle doesn't sort out his contract "in the next month." Nothing like a little artificial pressure on the team to grease the "big contract" wheels, eh?
Iv'e hear the Bengals(my number 2 team) are thinking about a trade for Alexander possibly Rudi and a First day Draft pick or something on those lines due to both of the Halfbacks contracts expiring.
That would be interesting. Except that I'd hate to see the Steelers have to face Alexander twice a year.... yikes!

Rudi is decent but Shaun Alexander is pretty dominant If it was anything above a rod 2 I wouldnt take the trade.
I think Johnson would be cheaper than Alexander, so if this trade were to go through, I think it would be good for the Seahawks. They'd be better off with Hasselbeck and Johnson together than with Alexander alone. I don't think they can afford to keep both.
