"At least one Ottawa Senator's off-season surgery has been deemed a success. Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson was back in Ottawa on Wednesday after having "sports hernia" surgery in Montreal on Tuesday, and general manager Bryan Murray says the surgery was successful. The recovery time is usually four to six weeks.
