James finished 4th among Eastern guards with 577,471 votes, behind Iverson, McGrady, and Kidd. Ilgauskas finished 3 among centers with 284,493 votes, behind Wallace and Mourning. Boozer finished 7th among forwards with 176,397 votes, behind Carter, O'Neal, Martic, Pippen, Artest, and Abdur-Rahim. Safe to say that Boozer won't make it but will be in the Rookie/Sophomore game. Ilgauskas stands a good chance to be the East backup center again, though I doubt it, I don't see it taking place. James stands a great chance to be selected by the coaches as a reserve. Opinions?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Crossover:</div><div class="quote_post">I want James in the Rookie vs Sophomore game, dammit.</div> Me too, him and Melo would be priceless, a once and a lifetime thing (though they already taged up in an exhibition before the season started, this is a slightly larger stage )
I vote no for LeBron as an All-Star also. The rookie games are pretty much always exciting to watch. And it would be great to see the two friends play with one another.
I wouldnt mind seein Bron in the ASG, he has the skills, he deserves it, I wish he would play both though, I am actually looking forward to the rookie game this year.
I think Carlos Boozer and LeBron James should both been in the all-star game! They are good enough for it, so why not?
Eh its one or the other. Why would they make him play two games in one weekend? It is All-Star <u>Break.</u>
