I like the idea of picking teams but I kind of wish they'd gone even further and put the sticks at centre ice and had somebody blindly throw them one-by-one to each side like an old school shinny hockey game. Maybe have three piles--forwards, d, and goalies.
That would be cool. Still excited to see how the teams go.. Sedin's split? Crosby and Ovi on the same team? Toews and Kane split? Hawks playing for Flyer's coaches. Flyer playing for Hawk's coaches?
I'd love to see Ovi and Sid team up for once. Btw, the winter classic was BOMB. The NBA should really take a (few) pages from the NHL's book

Canadian's fan.....Why Sex Panther...just be normal like everyone else and be a Leaf fan. speeds has the best idea; no lie. Fuck East vs. West....Shinny style is the best. As for the NBA; they need 3 on 3 tourney's - quick pick-up games. And outdoor game would be way to sick. Chain mesh sounds so nice when you get a swish.
Since I have no emotional ties (except maybe Chicago since it's my hometown) with any team in the NHL, I chose my team on which games i've (and will) been to the most, which was the Canadiens. Besides, I would choose to be a Canucks fan (Vancouver is absolutely beautiful--thats my line of reasoning) before a Leafs fan.
Seems like they could do some outdoor games pretty easily (obviously not in the North). All of these sports are meant to be played outside.
They'd have to wait quite some time to do a street ball game. Since its cold and its Winter.. I'd say go to Hawaii, but the NFL has Hawaii.
