First four innings, the pitchers dominated. The NL scratched out two runs and held on past the 7th. The AL tied it on a 2 run homer by JD Drew in his first at bat. NL scratched out the go-ahead run in the top of the 8th on a sac fly.

(the pregame stuff, etc) So far it sucked for me, I like offensive games with lots of runs and HRs. (especially for an allstar game) Hopefully AL wins it in the end.
After all my years as a sports fan, I do think Baseball is the most awesome of all sports. The game's been around for 130+ years and there's been so few changes to the rules (like DH, tweaking the height of the mound, interleague play). The players can do steroids, but they hardly could make a mockery of all the records set over all those years. The 90' between bases is a thing of beauty. Just far enough to make it a challenge, even for modern athletes, to steal a base. I love all kinds of games, including pitching duels and high scoring games. The game was a nail biter at the time the NL retook the lead.
Wow. No outs, the NL intentionally walks the bases full, then gets two straight fielders' choices, out at home.
Watched the first few innings, but my boys and I had to make a DQ run. Frozen hot chocolate baby!! Just got home and I'm still confident that my AL will take the cake. I swear if they call it a tie again....
Once again... Morneau... you can't deny that he's awesome. Game winning run in the All Star game, home run derby champ (that's right, he won it!!), he's amazing...
They should have had the All-Star game every year at Yankee Stadium. Having the game at this old, creaky building beat the hell at having it at PacBell park or PNC Park.

And soccer is the best sport Denny. </div> Well to me, unless I'm watching Michael Jordan close to his prime (and some other stars like Kobe, etc.), the NFL is the most entertaining sport to watch and it's not that close. I love various sports though I just put the NFL on another level. However, it still surprises me a MJ fan like Denny would have baseball as his favorite athletic game. Nothing wrong with that, it just surprised me. :[
